The Sanitas Hospital La Moraleja is a flagship of the Sanitas network, providing the best inpatient care available with top class surroundings and facilities.

The medical staff include some of the most prestigious specialists in Spain, all of whom have considerable expertise and experience. In all specialties and services, hospital personnel are recruited and selected according to the same criteria and this guarantees consistent quality across services.
Top Facilities
The facilities have been developed so that the best medical care and most detailed and personalised attention may be offered:
- 14.800 m2 of surgical space including 6 operating theatres and 2 delivery rooms.
- 90 individual inpatient rooms, all with en-suite bath/shower room, air-conditioning, television and safe-deposit box.
- 48 medical consultation rooms.
- Emergency Services for adults and children open 24/7/365.
Other Facilities
Room service for companions: If you have a companion with you, you can request a bed to be made up for them between 19:00 to 22:00 hours. Additional towels are also available upon request from the auxiliary staff.
Cafeteria, restaurant and supermarket: These facilities are in the lobby and are available as follows: Cafeteria; 8:00 to 22:00; Restaurant and supermarket; 13:30 to 16:30 and 20:30 to 22:00.
A La Carte menu for authorised patients: If your diet permits, the Hospital offers you a meal choice from the A La Carte menu.
Food for companions: A meal service for companions accompanying disabled patients is available upon request from reception and this is invoiced at the cafeteria menu prices.
Parking: The Hospital has 260 underground parking bays distributed over the two lower floors of the building.
Hairdressing salon: The medical personnel on duty will provide you with the details of this service.
Laundry service for companions: This service can be requested at the main reception of the Hospital.
Religious services: These take place every Sunday in the prayer room, located in the lobby on the ground floor of the hospital. Any other religious requirements (sacraments, visits etc) can be requested from hospital reception.
Shop: There is a general shop in the lobby on the ground floor of the hospital, where you can buy gifts and toiletries, as well as daily newspapers and magazines.

- Paediatrics: Dr. Jose Jiménez. 24 hours a day from Monday to Sunday.
- Gynaecology and Obstetrics: Dr. Eduardo Cabrillo. 24 hours a day from Monday to Sunday.
- Orthopaedic Surgery: Dr. Javier Sanz. from 9.00 h to 22.00h from Monday to Sunday.
- Anaesthesiology: Dr.Tomás Molinero 24 hours a day from Monday to Sunday.
- Intensive Care: Adults: Dr. Miguel Angel Palm. 24 hours a day from Monday to Sunday. Children: Dr. Jose Jiménez. 24 hours a day from Monday to Sunday.
Specialties with local emergency professionals:
For the remaining specialties, we have local medical professionals who will be contacted by pager or mobile, as and when it is required for them to attend to emergency cases.
The Sanitas La Moraleja Hospital is also the only Sanitas centre in Madrid that you can count on for all emergencies including Ophthalmology. There is also a special open access service on Saturday mornings where you can receive a consultation without an appointment.
Location & contact Details
The Sanitas La Moraleja Hospital is located in Madrid, in Avenida Francisco Pi y Margall avenue nº 81, in Sanchinarro, right next to the Burgos motorway.
When using public transport, the nearest Metro stations are Virgen del Cortijo and Blasco Ibañez, while Anotonio Saura, Alvarez de Vilaamil and Maria Tudor are a little further away. The area is is also connected to the centre of Madrid by bus routes, 172, 173 and 174.
