Sagrada Familia Opening Times
As there are many different parts of this church to see, opening times can vary and are also affected by the seasons. The basilica is open from 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM from November to February, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM in March, while from April to September it remains open until 8:00 PM. The massive towers themselves are open year-round from 9:00 AM until the church closes. Note that on holidays including December 25,26 January 1,6 opening hours 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Tickets and Pricing
Admission charges vary and primarily depend on where one wishes to visit and can also be affected by group rates and ages. To visit the basilica is free for children under 10 years of age, the unemployed and those with more than 65% disability, otherwise the individual price is €15.00. Should one wish to combine the basilica visit with a trip to the Gaudi House and museum, the price is €24.00. This charge does not include visiting the towers. The additional cost of climbing the towers is €5.00 (Total €29.00).
How to Get to the Sagrada Familia
Since the Sagrada Familia is by far the most recognisable structure in Barcelona, arriving there is quite easy. One can either take the red line metro from the central hub at Plaza Espana or take one of the many buses that arrive every five or ten minutes. The main buses that serve this destination are numbers 6, 7, 33 and 34. There will be a train stop in the future, but the station is not built as of yet. Otherwise, one can drive there although there is little parking nearby and instead one of the many parking garages throughout the area should be used.
