Bring your Sanitas card, photo ID, the GP or specialist referral that authorises the imaging study or consultation, your current medication list, and any prior imaging or laboratory reports relevant to the new study. For mammography, MRI or CT, ask when you book whether any specific preparation is required (such as fasting or hydration instructions).

Centre visiting and hours:
The centre is on Calle Alhóndigas in central El Ejido. Opening hours are Monday and Wednesday from 13:00 to 21:00; Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 08:00 to 16:00; closed Saturday and Sunday. Confirm the day and time of your appointment when you book; some imaging modalities (such as MRI or scheduled cardiology echo) are run on specific days only and require advance booking.

Getting to the centre:
El Ejido has no Renfe station; the nearest mainline rail link is the Estación Intermodal de Almería, with onward intercity buses to El Ejido. ALSA operates direct Almería to El Ejido coaches, journey time around an hour and ten minutes, with onward connections to Granada, Málaga, Sevilla and Madrid. The Consorcio de Transporte Metropolitano de Almería runs metropolitan lines including M-351, M-354, M-356, M-370, M-380, M-381, M-383 and M-372 calling at the El Ejido bus station. Within the town, the municipal urban bus network operated by Autobuses del Sureste covers the centre and runs along the El Ejido–Almerimar corridor on lines 11 and 21. Taxi rank at the Estación de Autobuses on C/ Bayarcal serves the central area. By car the town is reached from the A-7 Autovía del Mediterráneo at junctions 409 and 411, and from the N-340 through the town centre.
