The centre is on Calle Alhondigas in central El Ejido. Opening hours are Monday and Wednesday from 13:00 to 21:00; Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 08:00 to 16:00; closed Saturday and Sunday. Confirm the day and time of your appointment when you book; some imaging modalities (such as MRI or scheduled cardiology echo) are run on specific days only and require advance booking.

Getting to the centre:

El Ejido has no Renfe station; the nearest mainline rail link is the Estacion Intermodal de Almeria, with onward intercity buses to El Ejido. ALSA operates direct Almeria to El Ejido coaches, journey time around an hour and ten minutes, with onward connections to Granada, Malaga, Sevilla and Madrid. The Consorcio de Transporte Metropolitano de Almeria runs metropolitan lines including M-351, M-354, M-356, M-370, M-380, M-381, M-383 and M-372 calling at the El Ejido bus station. Within the town, the municipal urban bus network operated by Autobuses del Sureste covers the centre and runs along the El Ejido–Almerimar corridor on lines 11 and 21. Taxi rank at the Estacion de Autobuses on C/ Bayarcal serves the central area. By car the town is reached from the A-7 Autovia del Mediterraneo at junctions 409 and 411, and from the N-340 through the town centre.
