What is the Sanitas medical directory?
The Sanitas medical directory is the list of doctors and centres in the Sanitas network, which you use with a Sanitas health plan. Sanitas has more than 58,000 professionals in more than 4,500 centres in Spain. Our directory lists its network in 48 provinces plus Ceuta and Melilla.
- Doctors and specialists: general practitioners (GPs) and more than 50 specialties and services, from paediatricians to cardiologists.
- Hospitals and emergencies: general hospitals, hospital outpatient clinics and emergency services.
- Tests: diagnostic test centres and clinical analysis laboratories.
- Dental clinics: all 210 Sanitas Milenium dental clinics on our dental clinic map, plus more than 850 dental clinics in the Sanitas network, Milenium included, province by province.
- Pharmacies: each clinic listing shows the nearest pharmacy and how far away it is.

Do I need a referral to see a Sanitas specialist?

Can I use a doctor outside the Sanitas network?
On most Sanitas plans a consultation with a doctor outside the network is not paid, except in a life-threatening emergency. Mas 90, Mas 90 Plus and Premium 500 add a reimbursement fund that pays a share of consultations with any doctor, in Spain or abroad. Top Quantum reimburses general practitioner (GP), paediatric and gynaecology consultations outside the network, with a 20 per cent excess.
