Hospital Universitari General de Catalunya is a private general hospital in Sant Cugat del Valles with a large inpatient and surgical set-up. The hospital’s official information says it has 350 beds, 14 operating theatres, 105 outpatient consultation rooms, a 24-hour emergency department, intensive care, a day hospital and rehabilitation facilities. Quironsalud also says the hospital covers the main medical and surgical specialties, including general and paediatric urgent care.

By train: The most useful rail link is the FGC Barcelona-Valles line to Hospital General station, which sits right by the hospital campus.
By car: The hospital has its own parking with capacity for around 400 vehicles, and the emergency department has direct access from the street.
Local access: The hospital is in Sant Cugat del Valles close to the main road corridor, which makes it easier to manage for admissions, scans, follow-up visits and family drop-offs than a tighter inner-city site.
