Can I use my health insurance outside of Spain?
Yes. All Sanitas health insurance plans include emergency travel assistance for trips up to 90 days outside of Spain. This covers unexpected medical situations such as illness or accidents while you're abroad.

What does emergency travel assistance include?
If you're abroad and need urgent medical care, the following are typically covered (up to your plan’s limit):
- Medical treatment for illness or injury
- Hospitalisation and surgery (if required)
- Ambulance or emergency transport
- Repatriation if necessary
- 24/7 support from Sanitas' international assistance team
