Where can i use my Sanitas Dental Milenium insurance?. Is it a network of dentists or can I use any dentist in Spain?
You can use your Sanitas Dental Milenium insurance at any of the 210+ Milenium dental centres across Spain. When you join will have online access to choose a Milenium center of your choice.
Are there any qualification periods before i can receive treatment?
No, there are no qualification periods for the Sanitas Dental Milenium plan - You can use your plan from day one.
Are there any co-payments (excesses) for using the services?
The Sanitas Dental Milenium has 2 versions: "with *co-payments" and "without *co-payments" - If you decide to purchase the version "with *co-payments" then a co-payment of €3 is charged per appointment day. It is the same however many included services you receive that day, so a check-up and a teeth cleaning at one appointment incur one €3 co-payment.
Do I have to pay for services not included in the policy or do they get added to my account to be paid later?
Please see our price list - All items marked "inc" are included (or €3 if you have purchased the version of this policy that has co-payments (excesses)). All other items are discounted by up to 40% but must be paid for at the time of the treatment. If you need a lot of treatment for services that are not included then financing is also available from your local Milenium dental clinic.
What is the price of Sanitas Dental Millenium without co-payments as a standalone policy or when added to a health policy?
€14,25 per person, per month as a standalone policy, or €11,20 per person, per month when added to a Sanitas health policy.
What treatment areas does Sanitas Dental Milenium cover?
Sanitas Dental Milenium covers treatments across preventative dentistry, surgeries, aesthetic dentistry, paediatric dentistry for under 15s, prosthesis, periodontics, orthodontics, implantology, diagnostic imaging and temporomandibular joint disorder. All treatments and diagnostic tests are performed in the same centre. The plan also includes a 24-hour telephone emergency service and emergency video consultations at the weekend.
Is there an age limit for Sanitas Dental Milenium?
No. Sanitas Dental Milenium has no age restrictions. Children under the age of 6 may also be added to the policy completely free of charge. Paediatric dentistry for children under 15 years of age is one of the treatment areas covered. The plan can be used from the very first day, with no qualification periods.

Sanitas Dental Milenium does not include fillings or reconstructions, so they are paid at the clinic at the discounted Milenium price. Sanitas Dental Premium includes up to two fillings or reconstructions per person each policy year at no charge.

Yes, Sanitas Dental Milenium does not exclude pre-existing dental problems and has no waiting periods. A problem you already have can be treated from the policy start date, with included services at no charge and other treatments at the discounted Milenium price.
