Heavy Rain And 100KM/H Winds Forecast For Costa del Sol And Cadiz On Friday Spain News

Much of Andalucia and Cadiz is expected to get off to a wet and windy start this weekend with rain and strong winds predicted.

Spain’s Agency for Meteorology, AEMET has issued severe weather warnings for parts of the Costa del Sol and Cadiz this Friday, November 22.

Heavy rains and strong winds of up to 100KM/H are forecast, which will hit Cadiz from Midnight on Friday through to Midnight on Saturday with experts issuing an orange weather warning or ‘important risk’.

Cadiz will also see rainfall levels of between 20 and 50mm with the areas expected to be hit hardest, Grazalema, Litoral gaditano, Campiña gaditana and Estrecho.

The Costa del Sol and Malaga have also been issued with yellow warnings and expected to experience strong winds of around 80 KM/H. The region will encounter much rainfall with around 20mm predicted on Friday.

Areas that will be affected the most are Antequera, Axarquia, Ronda and Sol y Guadalhorce from Midnight Friday until Midnight Saturday.

Alicante and Murcia regions are also expected to receive moderate rainfall and winds from Midday on Friday.
