Can I switch to Sanitas from my current insurer?

Yes. You can transfer to Sanitas from Bupa, and you can switch to Sanitas from any other Spanish insurer. After at least 12 months of continuous cover with another insurer in Spain, Sanitas waives its waiting periods, except childbirth, which keeps its 8-month wait. Cover held abroad does not count, except a policy with a Bupa company.
