The Policlínica Nuestra Señora del Rosario was founded by Dr. D. Julián Vilás Ferrer who studied medicine at the San Carlon University in Madrid. Dr. Ferrer continued his education in Barcelona for a number of years and then decided to return to Ibiza where he found the Policlínica Nuestra Senora del Rosario in 1969.
Although Dr. Ferrer passed away in 2012, both his son Dr. Francisco Vilás and daughter Marta Vilás continue his fine work and run the family business today as a part of the Cirugia Group of hospitals.
From its early days, the clinic has slowly grown to medical facility that provides not only state of the art equipment, but also prides itself on its team of over 300 highly trained and professional healthcare personnel.
The clinic is renowned for its friendly, warm and personalised approach to patient care, which is testament to the legacy that has been passed on by the founder Dr. Ferrer.
The clinic is conveniently located in the center of Ibiza Town (Eivissa) making it easily accessible from anywhere on the island to both private vehicles and public transport. The clinic also serves residents from the Island of Formentera.

Patient Information
The rooms at the hospital are either single or double and offer disabled access. Each room has a bathroom, television, safe-deposit box, electrically assisted bed and air conditioning. Each room also offers a touch-screen devices which patients can use to watch television, listen to the radio or surf the web.
The hospital also offers WiFi internet access.
A number of languages are spoken by the staff at the clinic including English, German, French, Swedish and Italian.
