The hospital Virgen del Alcazar is a private hospital located in Lorca, Murcia, which was first opened in 1972.
The hospital originally began life with just 44 beds, but over the years has undergone considerable expansion meaning that the hospital is now able to offer a total of 177 beds.
The hospital has two outpatient consultation Polyclinics within the city center, Polyclinic Virgen del Alcazar Avenue and Policlinico Virgen del Alcázar Floridablanca, both of which offer a range of medical specialties.
Patient Information
Please make sure you provide identification on admission to the hospital in the form of an NIE or passport. You will also need to present your insurance paperwork.
Although the hospital does provide basic wash items such as shower gel and a sponge, it is advisable to bring your own washing items and nightwear.
Visiting hours are from 08:00 to 22:00 with guests having to vacate the hospital by 22:30. One visitor is permitted to remain with the patient overnight and a maximum of two visitors are allowed to visit the patient at any one time. The hospital remains closed until 07:00.
Please refrain from taking jewellery and other valuables with you when staying at the hospital as the hospital will not be responsible for any loss.
Each room is equipped with a television.
