What counts as “clinical analysis”?
Clinical analysis (laboratorio de análisis clínicos) covers routine and advanced lab work used to diagnose, monitor, or screen medical conditions. Typical categories include:
Haematology – full blood count, coagulation profile, ferritin, B12/folate.
Tumour markers / special tests – where clinically indicated.
How referrals and booking usually work
Doctor issues a referral (boletin) listing the tests.
Choose a partnered lab or hospital extraction point near you.
Attend the sample collection - many tests are walk‑in; fasting may be required.
Results are uploaded and your doctor reviews them with you.
You can track appointments and receive result notifications in the app. Most labs publish PDFs you can download and share directly with your doctor.
Preparation tips
Fasting: For lipid & glucose profiles, 8–12 hours fasting is often requested.
Hydration: Drink water unless told otherwise; dehydration can skew results.
Medication & supplements: Ask your doctor which to pause before testing.
Timing: Some hormones (e.g., cortisol) are time‑sensitive — attend at the advised hour.
