What is the procedure for consultation. Do I go to my sanitas doctor first and he refers me to a specialist at the hospital or clinic?

No, in most cases you can see a specialist without a referral from a Sanitas GP, this is with the exception of referrals for psychology and physiotherapy.  You just choose a local specialist from our network and make an appointment directly.
