The Virgen del Mar is located in Madrid and was purchased by Sanitas in 2014.
The hospital offers a total of 68 beds, surgical unit, four operating rooms, intensive care unit and an emergency department. It also provides more than 20 medical specialties and specialist units including endoscopy, post-anesthesia and ambulatory surgery units.

Please note that you will need to present any insurance and medication documents to the admissions team at the main reception and the start of your stay.
Each room in the hospital is modern and comfortable and has a telephone, television and a guest bed for any visitors.
Visitors must visit no later than 22:00 with a maximum of 3 visitors. Children are not recommended.
Main entrance is closed from 22:00 to 07:45. Access can be made via the emergency department outside of these hours.
Please visit the main reception before completing your stay in order to complete any outstanding documentation.

How to Get There
The hospital is centrally located and served by a number of bus routes including 7, 11, 16, 29, 40, 51, 87 and 150.
You can also reach the hospital via Metro Colombia line 8 or 9 and Metro Pio XII line 9.
