The Hospital Quironsalud San Camilo is a private medical center located in the Salamanca district of Madrid and offers cutting-edge medical and surgical treatments.
The hospital is a part of the Quironsalud network of hospitals and was first founded way back in 1945. In 2000, the hospital underwent a large amount of reform and modernisation to its facilities and services. Today, the hospital has become a benchmark for private healthcare in the region and is renowned for its high-level of patient care and expertise.
The San Camilo boasts over 12,000 sqm of medical facilities spread over nine floors and offers a comprehensive range of treatments to patients. The hospital has a number of specialties including Urology, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Nutrition, Gynecology and Trauma. The hospital also offers a 24/7 emergency service and Intensive Care Unit.
The quality of the health services are of the highest standards and this has been recognised in recent years with the hospital being placed in the final on two occasions of the Top 20 awards for healthcare excellence.
Patient Information
You will need to visit the Patient Admissions service when you arrive at the hospital. This can be found on the ground floor, next to the Patient Care Services area.
When arriving at the hospital, please make sure that you have the following documentation available to present to the admissions team.
- Identification: In the form of an NIE, Passport or Residencia
- Signed admissions form
- All relevant insurance documents and authorisation
- Any surgery and anesthesia consent forms if required
The admissions team can be contacted by telephone on the main hospital number 902 112 121 ext 28080 and 28081. Please report to the admissions team when departing the hospital so that any final documentation may be completed.
Please note that a maximum of two visitors per patient are allowed at any one time. If more than two, it is recommended that other visitors wait in the waiting area on each floor and take it in turns. Visits may not extend beyond 9pm and child visitors must be kept to a minimum.
Please note that meal times while staying at the hospital are at the following times.

- Dinner from 8:00 PM
