Extra Option - Repatriation
Repatriation is an important aspect of cover for foreigners, as in many cases, repatriation cover is required to obtain residency or a visa in Spain. This will repatriate the insured person(s) to their country of origin in the event of their death within Spain. This also includes the costs of transferring the deceased from the international airport in their home country, to the town where burial will take place.
Passenger transfer costs to accompany the deceased is also included for one member of the deceased´s immediate family who is normally resident in Spain.

- Who is eligible for the repatriation option?

Anyone under the age of 75. Once the option has been purchased there is no age limit to remain insured with this option.
- If my policy is going to be for 2 adults can we choose which insured person has the repatiation option?

If you decide to purchase the repatriation option then this must be purchased for all insured persons on the policy.
- Can i purchase this option later?

Yes, but it can only be purchased on the renewal date of your underlying health insurance plan.
